When Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, CEMS Alumna Kate Zhuzha had to apply the management skills she learnt at business school to support her compatriots back in the occupied south.

In her recent interview with Financial Times, Kate explained how while working at Meta she needed to help beyond posting on social media after the Ukraine invasion. She also reflected on how her CEMS master studies and knowledge gained at Prague University of Economics and Business & Nova School of Business and Economics helped her shape her NGO work.
